Reports have been received that Panamanian flag vessel SEA MARK (5,321gt, built 1984), en route to Majuro Atoll, Marshall Islands, reportedly experienced fire on board, in position lat 24 42 07N, long 144 37 39E, 180 miles east of Iwo Jima today.
Vessels in the vicinity were requested to assist the vessel and bulk carrier JP VENTURE responded. Reefer vessel SEA MARK last port of call was Ningbo from where she sailed on 12th December 2019.
