Reports have been received that Chinese flag vessel HAI SU 10 (7,545gt built 2007) was struck by another Chinese flag vessel REN JIAN 15 (42,112gt built 2010) at Nansha port on 26 December 2018.
Reportedly, REN JIAN 15 went out of control while manoeuvring to berth. As a result, HAI SU 10 was struck on her starboard side, damaging some containers, whilst other containers fell onto the berth.
In addition, HAI SU 10’s hull was breached with ensuing water ingress.
