Reports have been received that Marshall Islands flag AP SVETI VLAHO (32,578gt, built 2009) grounded on 2nd January 2019 on the Punta Indio Channel, Argentina.
The bulker, destined for Italy, reportedly grounded due to an engine failure. The vessel is partially obstructing navigation. Two tug boats will assist.
It is possible that general average will be declared as a result of this incident.
