Panamanian flag vessel DL ADONIS (43,692gt, built 2010) en route from Gdynia to Ust-Luga, was disabled in the Baltic Sea, west of Hiiumaa, on the night of 2nd December 2017.
The bulk carrier eventually dropped anchor. Maltese flagged tug FAIRPLAY 35 was contracted to assist and was deployed from Swinoujscie. The casualty is due in Gdansk today under tow.
