Reports have been received that German flag vessel OCEAN VOYAGER (6,668gt, built 2012) Cadiz to Oslo, ran aground in the Oslo Fjord at around 0700, today.
The vessel got stuck near the Storegrunn lighthouse in the Drobak Sound, north of Askholmene at Drobak in Akershus. No injuries or pollution were reported.
The lifeboat Bergesen D. Y. went on standby, and tug John was deployed from Slagen. A first attempt to pull the ship off failed. Tug Gyltingen has also been deployed to the grounding site.
