Reports have been received that Dutch flag vessel ARAGONBORG (11,888gt, built 2010) has been towed into Puerto Duarte, Dominican Republic.
The general cargo vessel suffered a loss of power around 14th October and towage assistance was required.
She had sailed from Bilbao on 29th September 2017 and is destined for Central and South American ports.
Repairs to the vessel are expected to be completed in the next two or three days.
General Average has been declared.
