Reports have been received that Chinese flag vessel FENG HAI 15 (5,614gt, built 2009) lost part of her cargo at Bangladesh on 31st January.
The accident took place when the anchor chain of Bangladeshi flag vessel BANGLAR SHOURABH became entangled in the mooring lines of FENG HAI 15.
This led to a rupture of the cargo lines between the Chinese vessel and the shore tank. The vessel was carrying a cargo of approximately 7,500mt of palm oil from Indonesia.
