Reports have been received that Indonesian flag vessel MERATUS B. ANJAR 2 (6,114gt, built 1997) sank yesterday off Masalembo.
Three crew members are reported as missing. The Indonesian Navy and another cargo vessel are undertaking a search.
MERATUS B. ANJAR 2, which traded between ports in Indonesia, sank after taking on water in to her engine room.
She had sailed from Surabaya and was due to call at Makassar.
