Reports have been received that Gibraltar flag vessel BBC CANADA (4,086gt, built 1999) has been towed into Duqm, Oman, after she lost her rudder.
BBC CANADA is on a voyage from Mumbai, from where she sailed on 14th July. She is destined for Diliskelesi.
This incident may give rise to claims for general average and salvage against cargo interests.
