Reports have been received that Antigua & Barbuda flag vessel THOR COMMANDER (6351gt, built 2010) is currently drifting after experiencing an engine break down.
Attempts to repair the fault by the crew were unsuccessful. Two tugs have been sent to assist THOR COMMANDER. Two merchant vessels are also on standby to help.
The casualty sailed from Puerto Angamos, Chile on 13th December and is bound for Townsville, Australia.
