Reports have been received that Singaporean flag vessel SINAR KAPUAS (33,348gt, built 2008) collided with crude oil tanker ALYARMOUK (61,342 gt, built 2011) in Singapore waters earlier today.
According to reports, one of ALYARMOUK’s cargo tanks sustained damage resulting in a spill of crude oil. A helicopter and oil spill response resources were sent to the scene.
SINAR KAPUAS sailed from Hong Kong on 28th December 2014. ALYARMOUK sailed from Tanjung Pelepas for Yangpu yesterday.
