The vessel is still hard aground this morning and two tugs have been sent to assist.
The vessel’s last port of call was Guam. Before that she sailed from Kaohsiung on 3rd September and Hong Kong on 2nd September.
PAUL RUSS trades to various countries in the Pacific region but is likely to be carrying transhipment cargoes for other regions as well.
It is possible that claims for Salvage and General Average will arise as a result of this incident.
