Reports have been received that Chinese vessel HAI HONG DA was in collision with Panamanian flag vessel FRONTIER VOYAGER (92,370gt, built 2012) on 7th August.
The accident occurred in the Yangtze River estuary. HAI HONG DA, carrying a cargo of iron ore, sank as a result and three of her eighteen crew are still missing.
