*****FOURTH REPORT*****
We refer to earlier reports below. The stern section of the vessel has now sunk in deep water with the loss of around 1700 containers.
The bow section of the vessel is under tow to a port of refuge.
Dolphin Maritime already represents several cargo insurers.
*****THIRD REPORT*****
MOL COMFORT, broken into two parts, has been located. The Shipowners have signed an LOF Salvage Contract and tugs are currently on the scene assessing the situation. Several containers have been lost into the sea.
If the two parts of the vessel and the cargo remaining on board can be towed into port then it is likely that cargo insurers will be asked to provide Salvage and/or GA security.
Dolphin Maritime can assist with the provision of Salvage and GA security and the handling of all cargo claims arising as a result of this incident.

*****SECOND REPORT*****
We refer to our first report on the MOL COMFORT casualty which is repeated below.
Please note that Dolphin Maritime is already assisting the insurers of part of the cargo on board this vessel.
Reports received today suggest that, although the ship has broken in two, the two parts of ship may still be afloat.
However, other reports, including Coast Guard bulletins, suggest that the ship has in fact sunk.
If the cargo is rescued then it is likely that cargo insurers will be asked to provide security for Salvage and/or General Average claims. We can assist cargo insurers with the provision of these guarantees.

*****FIRST REPORT*****
Reports have been received that Bahamian flag vessel MOL COMFORT (86692 gt, built 2008) has broken into two in the Arabian Sea today. Her crew has been rescued. Latest reports suggest the vessel has sunk.
MOL COMFORT was on a voyage number 005W21 from Far Eastern Ports to the Middle East. Her next port of call was Jeddah. She is however likely to have cargoes on board for other regions as well.
