Reports have been received that Danish flag vessel NORDPOL (40066gt built 2002) sustained machinery damage recently.
The vessel suffered propeller damage whilst departing from Port Alfred, Quebec and has now stopped at the port of Halifax for further investigation.
It is also possible that general average will be declared as a result of this incident.
