Reports have been received that Cambodian Flag vessel ANGA (3041gt built 1982) has run aground close to the port of Azov, Russia whilst on voyage to Turkey carrying 2,963 tons of scrap metal. Tugs will be required to refloat the vessel.
It is possible that a salvage claim will be made against the owners/insurers of the cargo on board this vessel. It is also possible that general average will be declared.
