Reports have been received that Curacao flag vessel CATHMA (3,990gt built 2007) has been towed into Holmsund following engine problems.
The vessel was on a voyage to Kaskinen when she began to experience problems on 8th May and requested the assistance of a local tug.
It is possible that a salvage claim will be made against the owners/insurers of the cargo on board this vessel. It is also possible that general average will be declared.
