Reports have been received that Panama flag vessel JUI HSING (11,531gt built 1974) has run aground and broken up off the coast of China.
Eleven of the ship’s crew have been rescued but two are reported to have lost their lives with a further eight still missing at this time.
We understand that pollution has also been caused and the Environmental Protection Administration is waiting for a wreck removal plan to be provided by the Shipowners.
