Reports have been received that the Chinese flag TAI AN KOU, built 2002 15840 GRT has been hijacked off Oman. We expect that in due course the pirates will take the vessel to Somalia and then demand a ransom. On release, GA will normally be declared and cargo will be asked to contribute.
