Reports have been received that the WIN MOONY Panamanian flag 1984 built, 12617 GRT has declared General Average following a grounding and subsequent tug assisted refloating after leaving the port of Zhangjiagang in China bound for Map ta Phut and Bangkok in Thailand.
Although the vessel has refloated General Average security will be required before discharge. We are already representing cargo with significant value in handling security requirements and also defending GA on no cure no pay terms.
