Reports have been received that Antigua flag vessel SANDNES (17357gt built 2004) has run aground off Denmark today.
The bulk carrier is on a voyage from Tau towards Esbjerg although she is also reported as having called at Jelsa yesterday.
It is possible that a salvage claim will be made against the owners/insurers of the cargo on board this vessel. It is also possible that general average will be declared.
