Reports have been received that North Korean flag vessel NAM YANG 8 (3537gt built 1979) sunk last night off Luzon. Fortunately, all of her crew made it ashore.
The vessel had loaded a cargo of magnetite in Aparri. Just a short way into the voyage, the vessel took on a uncontrollable list and sank two hours later.
