Reports have been received that Niue flag tanker HYUN JIN (496gt, built 1989) has been abandoned by her crew in the South China Sea.
It is not yet clear why the crew left the vessel. HYUN JIN was on a voyage from Yosu, South Korea to Singapore. The vessel’s last AIS signal was received 19 November when passing Kaohsiung.
