Reports have been received that Marshall Islands flag vessel YASA UNITY (38,895gt, built 2006) on a voyage from Kishnapatnam, India to Port Elizabeth, South Africa became disabled and went adrift north east of Madagascar on 25 August 2020.
Tug BOKA EXPEDITION set sail from Port Louis on the same day and it is expected to reach the casualty tomorrow to provide assistance to the vessel.
