Reports have been received that Madeiran flag vessel BARRIER (11,925gt built 1998) grounded off Beira on 7th April 2020.
The vessel was refloated and it is understood that she is now being towed to Durban where repairs will be effected.
BARRIER, a containership, trades between ports in East and Southern Africa. She may however have cargoes destined for and loaded in other areas of the world.
