Reports have been received that Swedish flag vessel ATLANTIC CARTIER (58358gt built 1985) experienced a fire on board at Hamburg, yesterday
The vessel is carrying a cargo of new cars which are bound for the USA. Despite fire-fighting efforts the fire was still burning this morning with around 70-80 cars reported effected. Some containers from the upper deck have been discharged.
