Reports have been received that Malaysian flag tug WOODMAN 38 (194gt built 2001) and Malaysian flag barge WOODMAN 39 were hijacked by pirates off Maguinanao Province on 27th July.
The crew have been rescued after being forced off the vessel by the pirates. The tug and barge originated from Miri and were reported missing yesterday after failing to arrive at their destination, Samarinda
