Reports have been received that Chinese flag vessel XIN CHEN HUI 9 sunk on 14th July following collision with containership COSCO Fukuyama (40,165gt built 2009) in the Yellow Sea.
Three of the vessel’s crew of eleven were rescued by the container vessel. Rescue vessels have since proceeded to the scene to search for the remainder of the crew.
