Reports have been received that Dutch vessel PROUD (4,106gt, built 2009) suffered an engine failure off the coast of Portugal on 20 October 2022.
The crew was unable to repair the fault and towage assistance was requested. PROUD is being towed to a port of refuge by tug SPARTACUS.
At the time of the incident, PROUD was on a voyage from Seville, Spain to Nantes, France.
