Reports have been received that Togo flag vessel SEA EAGLE (3,120gt, built 1984) lost stability, listed to port side, experienced water ingress, and partly capsized during cargo operations at Iskenderun earlier today.
The crew and duty stevedore teams immediately abandoned the vessel. No injuries were reported but oil has been observed leaking into the harbour.
The incident location has been declared as a temporarily restricted zone. The vessel remains stationary and in a capsized condition in Limak port.
