Reports have been received that Panamanian flag vessel HAI XING (18,597gt, built 1998) suffered a fire on board whilst loading cargo in Shanghai last month.
The owners of the vessel have declared General Average. Security will be required from cargo owners and insures before the cargoes on board can be delivered.
We are already assisting the insurers of part of the cargo on board HAI XING.
