Reports have been received that Hong Kong flag vessel (32,433gt, built 2011) suffered a fire on board yesterday whist in the North Atlantic.
Vessels in the vicinity were asked to keep a look out and assist if possible. But we now understand that the fire, which was in no 1 cargo hold, was extinguished and PENGUIN ISLAND is now making its way to Alexandria as next port of call.
