Reports have been received that Turkish flag vessel MEHMET UNLU (4,937gt, built 2000) suffered a fire on board yesterday evening at Ploce, Croatia.
MEHMET UNLU is loading a cargo of scrap metal and is destined for Turkey. Fire fighters are in attendance but as of earlier today the fire had not been extinguished.
