Reports have been received that Liberian flag vessel LUEBECK (13,764gt, built 2001) suffered a fire on board yesterday whilst at Catania.
The fire was extinguished by the crew and with assistance from local authorities. No injuries have been reported.
The fire is said to have originated in a container of yellow phosphate.
