Reports have been received that Panamanian flag vessel AFFLUENT OCEAN (6,448gt, built 1997) suffered a fire on board yesterday off Hong Kong.
The vessel is carrying steel products and had sailed from Nansha on 30 May 2021. The fire is understood to be in one of the vessel’s cargo holds.
