Reports have been received that Panamanian flag vessel KMTC SURABAYA (28,517gt, built 2018) ran aground in the Java Sea on 27 November 2020.
Prior to the grounding, KMTC SURABAYA had called at Jakarta from where it sailed on 26 November 2020 and before that Ho Chi Minh City from where the vessel sailed on 20 November 2020.
KMTC SURABAYA remains aground at this time.
