Reports have been received that Liberian flag vessel SKYFALL (36,396gt, built 2016) ran aground off Vinh Tan, Vietnam on 5th August 2020.
The bulk carrier is on a voyage from Indonesia carrying a cargo of 59,500mt of coal. SKYFALL sailed from Senipah on 31st July 2020.
It is possible that salvage and general average claims will arise as a result of this incident.
