Reports have been received that Liberian flag vessel NEW LEO (3,893gt built 1997) with 14 people on board experienced engine/mechanical failure earlier today.
The vessel, on a voyage from Elefsis to Gemlik, also suffered a cargo shift and developed a list. The crew have been rescued from the vessel, which is now in danger of sinking.
