Reports have been received that Liberian flag vessel WHITE PEARL (6,479gt, built 2010) en route from Malaysia to Sweden, reported main engine failure off Almeria on 4th October 2019.
The vessel requested assistance and tug ROMA towed the casualty from Almeria to the Navantia Shipyard in Cadiz where she arrived on 7th October 2019.
Engine repairs are being carried out and are expected to finish on or around 29th October 2019.
