Reports have been received that Vietnamese flag vessel PNT MIGHTY (8,282gt built 2013) ran aground in the Singapore Strait, south of Jurong Island on 2nd September 2019.
The general cargo vessel is still aground, according to latest reports. PNT MIGHTY is on a voyage from Fang Cheng Gang to Ko Sichang.
It is possible that claims for Salvage and General Average may arise as a result of this incident.
