Reports have been received that Liberian flag vessel VANTAGE KEY (17,951, built 2004) found herself adrift in the Indian Ocean off Sri Lanka earlier this week.
We understand that the vessel’s owners have agreed an LOF contract with professional salvors smit Singapore Pte Ltd.
Salvage security will be required before the cargo can be delivered. VANTAGE KEY is on a voyage from Abu Kir to Mongla carrying bagged fertilizer. She sailed from Abu Kir on 27 October 2018.
