Reports have been received that Hong Kong flag vessel EASTERN BUND (64,769gt, built 2011) ran aground yesterday in the Suez Canal following a loss of power.
The bulk carrier, on a voyage from Tubarao, suffered water ingress as a result of the incident and has been towed to an anchorage.
