Reports have been received that Madeiran flag vessel MARIA P (4,450gt, built 2000) suffered an engine breakdown yesterday whilst 350 miles off Azores.
The general cargo vessel has now been taken in tow towards Lisbon by tug RED SEA FOS.
MARIA P trades between Azores and mainland Portugal. She last sailed from Azores on 18th February 2017.
