Reports have been received that Antigua and Barbuda flag vessel CABRERA (4,244gt, built 2007) ran aground today off Andros Island, in heavy seas.
The general cargo vessel, carrying a cargo of iron from Greece to Finland, developed a 45 degree list. Her crew has been evacuated by helicopter.
Emergency vessels are on the scene. It is understood that bunker oil may escaped into the sea.
