Reports have been received that Maltese flag vessel ROBUSTO (88,930gt, built 2006) is aground off Alexandria, Egypt.
Salvage services are being rendered to the ship and cargo by Five Oceans Salvage under the terms of a Lloyd’s Open Form contract.
The vessel has on board a cargo of 163,000mt iron ore oxide pellets loaded at Narvik for discharge at El Dekheila.
It is also likely that General Average will be declared.
