Reports have been received that Vietnamese flag vessel HA TIEN 1 (5,555gt, built 1986) reported water ingress into her engine room yesterday off the coast of Vietnam
The master sent a distress signal and the vessel’s crew have been taken off the casualty. Salvage options are being considered.
HA TIEN 1 had sailed from Ha Phong on 14th February. She has on board a cargo of cement.
