Reports have been received that Moldovan flag vessel AMUR 2516 (3,086gt, built 1986) collided with an ice floe in the Sea of Azov on 3rd February 2016.
The vessel suffered sea water ingress and the ship’s master took the decision to intentionally ground the vessel at Dolzhanskaya.
AMUR 2516 was originally on a voyage from Azov to Ambarli. She has on board a cargo of peas.
