Reports have been received that Vietnamese flag vessel DONGTHIENPHU SILVER (1998gt, built 2008) sank off Yangon yesterday.
All fourteen crew members were rescued. The Vietnamese vessel sank after colliding with Dominican flag vessel OCEAN OSPREY (4993gt, built
1996).
DONGTHIENPHU SILVER had sailed from Ho Chi Minh City on 13th January 2016 for Singapore and Yangon.
