Reports have been received that Panamanian flag vessel FU LONG (5,007gt, built 2000) is adrift off Taiwan following engine problems.
A Lloyds Open Form salvage contract has been agreed with Nippon Salvage Co Ltd who will be providing assistance to the vessel.
Before the cargo can be delivered salvage security will be required. It is also likely that General Average will be declared.
