Reports have been received that Panamanian flag vessel EPOCH WIND (9,962gt, built 2014) has been taken in tow towards Toyohashi.
The general vessel reported an engine failure and required assistance. She had sailed from Nagoya on 12 January 2016 and had previously called at ports in China.
It is possible that claims for Salvage and General Average will arise as a result of this incident.
